Village Show

Welcome to the 28th Annual Village Show! Again a little later than normal as the first full weekend of September falls on the 6th and 7th of September thus providing a week longer for the vast array of skills and talents that the Village Show present on behalf of our community to be put together.

Last year we were excited to see a return of more entrants to the Village Show and hope to see even more this year. We would like to invite those who have been unsure in the past to come and have a go, as the Show is about giving it a try.

We are continuing with a couple of professional categories this year for those in the ‘trade’ to compete to get the top awards from our prestigious judges. For those familiar with the Schedule, please note we have included our new categories for you to consider and have extended the photography section with a category for under 16s, as well as Bishopsteignton School’s artwork.

From flowers, fruit and vegetables, to domestic, handicraft, a children’s section and photography, we would love to see entrants new and old. Entries staged Friday 5th September: 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Saturday 6th September: 7:30am to 10:30am Show closed to public between 10:30am and 2:00pm for judging

Village Show open to public Saturday 6th September: 2:00pm to 5:00pm Sunday 7th September: 11:00am to 4:00pm

Awards presented: Sunday at 3:30pm Admission £1.50 Children free Free pass for exhibitors with five or more entries
